Welcome to the 2016 CTP and CTA Directory!
Enclosed, you will find a listing of all current Certified Turnaround Professionals, or CTPs, and Certified
Turnaround Analysts, or CTAs.* These are individuals who have undergone a rigorous certification and
evaluation process specific to the turnaround and restructuring industries.
The TMA Certification Program establishes quality standards for an otherwise unregulated profession.
What is the CTP?
The CTP designation provides evidence of an individual’s commitment to the turnaround and corporate
renewal industry and also attests to a level of expertise that non-certified professionals may find
difficult to prove. Completing the CTP certification process demonstrates that a corporate renewal
professional possesses a solid foundation to operate successfully in the industry and could very well
enhance future earning power.
What is the CTA?
The CTA designation enables professionals to showcase their knowledge of turnaround, restructuring,
and bankruptcy subject matters. The CTA is beneficial to NextGen members and those new to our
profession, and is available to attorneys, accountants, lenders, business executives, and other service
providers. The best part about getting your CTA designation now is it can be your first step in ultimately
earning a CTP certification, a designation which is distinguished by its leadership requirement. The CTA
shares the same examinations and some of the applicant portfolio components required for the CTP.
Why is earning your CTA or CTP designation important?
• It enhances your qualifications and thus your personal brand and that of your firm,
helping you get on industry panels and building your expertise and eminence.
• It will distinguish you from competitors that don't have it and thus should give you
an edge in winning business.
• It will grant you exclusive access to CTA/CTP-only events and networking opportunities
from TMA Global.
• It demonstrates your commitment to and support of our industry and the
Turnaround Management Association.
How to use this directory:
